Indonesian Women Association of the Indonesian Embassy in London
– Known formally as Dharma Wanita Persatuan (‘DWP’) KBRI London, this non-political organisation aims to strengthen Indonesian women’s participation in the nation’s development, particularly in education, economic, and socio-cultural sectors. Activities in London include, among others 1) education and training programs/workshops for Indonesian women and diaspora in the UK, 2) fundraising events for various charity organisations and disaster relief in Indonesia, 3) social gatherings, and 4) capacity building and knowledge sharing for its members, including on UK history, arts and culture and international organisations.
