Fiwal organises several events of its own to provide a forum for its members. As well as the prestigious Biennial Conference covering current issues, we offer Seasonal Gala fund-raising events, often held jointly with Diplomatic missions.
The Biennial Spring lunch with distinguished speakers is held on alternate years to the Conference.

Dear FIWAL Friends,
As we step into the shortest month of the year – February, a special month that celebrates love and kindness, let’s take a moment to reflect on the warmth and energy we bring into each other’s lives.
FIWAL and our associations thrive on participation and collaboration. I encourage you to participate and attend not only our events but also those meticulously planned and hosted by our fellow associates. Engaging with each other strengthens our ties and also provides fresh perspectives and ideas.
Do let’s show our support and continue to build a strong interconnected network of FRIENDS.

Looking ahead, I am thrilled to announce that our much-anticipated FIWAL Spring Lunch will take place on 8th April at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club. Tickets are limited. Bookings will open for Board members at the Board meeting on 10 Feb. You can expect a delightful afternoon celebrating International Womens Day starting with a Theorbo performance followed by our amazing speaker Gini Visconti who will tell us about her Grandma, the empowering woman and powerhouse of the Ferragamo empire. It’s an event you won’t want to miss.
