Fiwal is an umbrella organisation and welcomes new member associations. By joining the fiwal family, your organisation and its members have access to the following:

Networking with similar associations to share experiences, exchange ideas, make new friends, and experience cultures other than their own at social and cultural events

Receive the fiwal monthly e-newsletter “In Touch” where member associations can promote their upcoming events and encourage other fiwal members to attend. It carries information on member associations’ activities and articles of interest for the entire fiwal membership. To contact the fiwal’s News Editor, please send an email to: news@fiwal.org.uk

Participate in fiwal activities, including the prestigious Biennial Conference which covers topical issues, particularly those pertaining to Women

Each member Association may elect up to three member representatives to fiwal and at least one represents their Association on fiwal’s Board of Directors which meets three times a year. 

The Board meetings offer workshops on subjects of mutual interest and the opportunity to publicise their associations and exchange ideas. We also organise an informal Member rep Zoom “Fiwal Fireside Chat” for discussions on any issues facing our members.
